There’s more to pharmacists than you think. In addition to serving at your community pharmacy, they’re on the frontlines of every aspect of health care – helping to ensure better outcomes for people. Pharmacists are medication experts who enhance patient care and promote wellness. Pharmacists help people stay healthy and also manage illness or disease, with education, medications, prevention strategies and collaboration with other health care professionals. If you enjoy science and want to help people, consider becoming a pharmacist. As an ONU student pharmacist, you’ll engage in patient care starting your first semester and graduate into a career that has more than 100 different practice directions.
