Tuition, housing, meal plans and other ONU costs are paid at the Controller’s Office located on the first floor of the Lehr Memorial Building. Your bills can be paid in several ways. A penalty will be added to the ONU bill if fees are not paid by the posted due date for each term.
Who receives bills from ONU?
After the student arrives, all billing will be done electronically. Bills will be sent to the student's ONU email account. The student can request to have the bill emailed to a PARENT(or authorized user), but the student must make this request online through their EBILL site by clicking on the Authorized Users link.
What payment options are available?
Payment Option include: cash, check, web-check, credit card, payment plan, or wire transfer.
Cash and Check Payments:
You can pay your bill with cash or check at the Cashier’s Desk in Lehr Memorial Hall. This is a very economical way to pay your bill as there is no convenience fee for paying by cash or check.

If you are mailing in a check, please be sure to include the Student’s Name and ONU ID Number on the memo/for line. This helps us to ensure the payment is posted to the correct student account.
Please see the example below on how to fill out a US Check:
To pay by check online, you may go to www.onu.edu,click on “Current Student”, then click on “EBILL”, after you have logged in select the “Make Payment” option. You will then enter your bank’s routing number and your account number. The tuition and fees will be paid without any processing fee. This process can only be processed with an American or Canadian bank account. Please be sure you have enough money in your account to complete the desired payment transaction prior to submitting your payment.If your payment is rejected due to insufficient funds, you may be subject to an insufficient funds transaction fee.
Credit card payment for tuition expenses must be made online through the student’s EBILL account. There is a 2.85% convenience fee for paying with a credit card. ONU accepts payments from Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express.
Monthly Payment Plan:
You may pay your ONU fees on a monthly plan. However, you must sign up to do this online through your EBILL account each semester. There is a $30.00 charge for this service each semester. Please see our Authorized User Guide for step by step instructions on setting up a payment plan through EBILL.
International students may choose to pay by wire transfer. To ensure that funds are applied to the correct student account, we ask that you email Shannon Hadding in the Controller's Office (email@example.com) with the Sender’s Name, the Student’s Name, the Student’s ONU ID Number, the Dollar Amount, and the Date the Transfer will go through. We also ask that you copy Jennifer Briggs in our International Admissions Office (firstname.lastname@example.org) on that email, so she is aware of the transaction as well.
