Six dancers rehearsing for a collaborative performance through Ohio Northern University and Inlet Dance Theatre.

ADA – The Ohio Northern University School of Visual and Performing Arts will present Ohio-based dance company Inlet Dance Theatre for a joint concert with the ONU Dance Company Feb. 5 and 6 at the Freed Center for the Performing Arts. Performances will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Feb. 5 with a 2 p.m. matinee performance on Feb. 6.

"Inlet Dance Theatre and the ONU Dance Company" is the culmination of an intensive two-week artist-in-residency. ONU has been host to artistic director Bill Wade and teaching artist Joshua Brown for creative lectures, master classes, choreography collaboration and a performance showcasing the merging of both companies in concert.

Inlet Dance Theatre’s motto is “… using dance to further people.” Founded in 2001, Inlet embodies the long-standing belief that dance viewing, training and performing experiences may serve as tools to bring about personal growth and development. Inlet’s collaborative artistic staff build the company’s solid reputation for uplifting individuals and engaging new audiences via performances and educational programming.  During Inlet's 20-year history, the organization has transformed from a small dance company with local impact into a celebrated organization that reaches people on an international level.

Tickets are $20 for adults, $10 for seniors and $5 for students. To order, visit freedcenter.com or call the box office at 419-772-1900.
