Transportation to Campus
Take an ONU shuttle or a taxi to travel from the airport to campus. Your ONU student fee covers the cost of a student shuttle when you arrive to the USA and when you leave for home. ONU is located about a two-hour drive from three airports – Dayton (DAY), Columbus (CMH) and Detroit (DTW).
ONU offers airport shuttle services for students to and from Dayton (DAY), Columbus (CMH) and Detroit (DTW) airports.
Our friendly drivers depart campus on the Saturday of a holiday break at 8 a.m. Students returning to campus can expect a University vehicle to arrive at the airport at 6 p.m. on the day prior to the start of classes. University policy does not allow shuttle services between the hours of midnight and 6 a.m. for the safety of our drivers and students. There are no shuttle services on dates the University is closed. Please see the PDF below for the scheduled $60 shuttle dates. Any shuttle scheduled outside of these dates will be at a greater cost.
We care about your success and happiness while you are living in the USA. We want you to make friends, explore new places and find success in the classroom. From tutoring to health care, social outings to campus jobs, we offer many campus resources for international students.
As an international student, you have access to on-campus employment opportunities, provided you abide by visa rules. ONU offers a variety of campus jobs. Contact international services when you arrive on campus for more information.
We provide one-on-one tutoring and assistance if you need help in your academic classes. In addition, our Writing Center provides help at all stages in the writing process.
