Through the rigorous, hands-on coursework, you build a solid foundation in AI theory and application and refine your problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills.

Your AI-focused classes explore various topics, ranging from how intelligent systems are designed and applied to the history of AI and the logic behind decision-making. Through your studies, you become well-versed in the latest developments in machine learning, deep learning, and data-driven reasoning and investigate the ethical considerations that shape how AI impacts people, industries, and communities.

  • Depending on your chosen major, the Artificial Intelligence concentration requires 128–131 credit hours of coursework that integrates technical depth with hands-on discovery.

It offers more than 10,000 square feet of large-scale project and design space for capstones, competitive design projects, and other direct industry engagement. Additionally, it provides 2,000 square feet of modern research laboratories where supportive faculty guide your hands-on exploration.
