ONU Alert: ONU’s campus is operating on a 2-hour delay

ONU Alert: Due to wintry conditions, ONU’s campus is operating on a 2-hour delay on Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2026. In-person classes will begin and administrative offices will open at 10 a.m. Classes that begin before 10 a.m. may move to virtual instruction. Students should check Canvas and email for instructions from faculty.

Public safety, physical plant staff and other essential personnel are to report as normally scheduled.

Dining facilities, Starbucks, The Inn, and Healthwise Pharmacy will be open and follow their regular schedules. King Horn will open at 8 a.m.

All academic buildings, Heterick Memorial Library, the Mercy Health-ONU Counseling Center and the Health Center will be closed until 10 a.m.

The University continues to closely monitor weather conditions and will determine if an additional delay or closing will be necessary. Please watch for Rave alerts and email notifications for updates.
