School treasurer Tessa (Pitcovich) McVey, BSBA ’22, MSA ’23, and senior software engineer Kevin Cramer, BSCPE ’11, have been selected to receive Ohio Northern University’s 2026 William L. Robinson Young Alumni awards during Homecoming & Reunion Weekend, Sept. 25-26.
The prestigious award honors alumni from the past 15 years who demonstrate outstanding professional achievement, service to others, and commitment to ONU. It is named for Bill Robinson, a 1961 ONU graduate who served the University for more than 50 years and left a lasting impact.
The pair will serve as the Homecoming parade “Grand Marshals” and will be recognized pre-game at the Sept. 26 football match. The parade starts at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, and the football game kicks off at 1:30 p.m.

While a student at ONU, Tessa was a decorated cross country and track and field athlete. Now three years post-graduation, she’s treasurer of the Ada Exempted Village School District, an event planning entrepreneur, and a volunteer with ONU Athletics.
All three commitments mean her life is eventful and ever-challenging—just how she likes it. But what sets her apart is not just staying busy; but approaching each endeavor with an unfailing determination to be the best she can be.

Kevin is the kind of person who keeps digging when others settle for surface-level answers.
In his current role at Kroll Bond Rating Agency (KBRA), his questions are centered on K-SIM, a proprietary software for which he develops front-end solutions. While it sounds niche, his work has far-reaching impact. K-SIM enables financial analysts to evaluate risk and reward for complex investments, thus helping to secure 401Ks and pension funds.
Just 15 years post-college, Kevin is helping to reshape financial risk analysis and he’s still growing and learning.
