Ohio Northern University’s Center for Corporate Engagement (CCE), the region’s first-of-its-kind resource for professional training and leadership growth, has opened enrollment for its numerous programs, which provide practical approaches with immediate applications.
This inaugural CCE professional development series, offered this fall, includes single and multi-day programs designed to give employees and their employers the necessary tools to achieve professional success, career advancement, cultural enhancement, higher ROI and other crucial competitive advantages.
“We spent the past eight months listening to what individuals and companies want and need in the way of professional development,” said CCE Director Carol Turchick. “With recognized commitment to education excellence and a history of developing prominent leaders, ONU is positioned to be the right partner in this space.” she says. “The open enrollment format provides an opportunity for people from all industries and from all size of companies to learn in a very experiential way and create a wider professional network.”

Practitioners with real-world experience and expertise are facilitating the programs.

“There are many unique business challenges today from manager soft skill development, to better business acumen, to making good business decisions, to leaders having the resources they need to meet goals and objectives. Turchick says. “Our facilitators have the experience and the ability to deliver practical and applicable tools to create impactful outcomes.”
The open enrollment programs are held at The Inn at ONU beginning in late September and running until early December. Along with gaining valuable practical and applicable professional skills, participants have opportunities to earn micro-credentials, and multiple courses offer continuing education units and certificates. A continental breakfast and lunch are included in the registration fee.
