Biography:
Robert Anthony Waters, Jr., is the author of the Historical Dictionary of United States-Africa Relations, and co-editor of American Labor’s Global Ambassadors: The International History of the AFL-CIO during the Cold War. He has written or co-written articles that focus on US diplomatic history in Africa and the Caribbean, and the early Cold War Histories of Guyana and Ghana. Waters was a Fubright Scholar at the University of Ghana, and worked as a civil rights lawyer. He is completing a book on the Cuban Missile Crisis.
