A professor emeritus for the University of Kentucky’s Department of Pharmacy Practice and Science, Dr. Peggy Piascik has molded and inspired more than 3,000 pharmacy students. For several years she managed the UK’s non-traditional PharmD distance education program. In the classroom, she specializes in teaching about women’s health, over-the-counter products including dietary supplements and herbs, communication skills, and integrated skills in pharmacy practice. In 2015, she delivered ONU’s Sebok Lecture and received the Raabe College of Pharmacy’s Distinguished Alumni Award.
