Concentration
The Individualized Studies concentration within the BA Music degree is designed for the student who has a deep passion for music and wants to study music through a diverse lens, including knowledge and understanding of musical structure, its history, its cultural impact and its performance practices. This pathway is designed with significant freedom to explore course work and experiential learning both within and outside of music, allowing students to customize their focus area, including for their senior capstone. An additional major or minor is possible. This concentration does not require an audition.
