The ethics minor is an interdisciplinary program designed to provide you with a grounding in the philosophical analysis of ethics, but also expose you to ethical analysis using the standards of other disciplines. Thus, you’ll take philosophy courses as well as ethics courses from different disciplines across different colleges. The flexibility of the program means that you can easily add an ethics minor regardless of your undergraduate major. Through the minor program, you’ll learn to demonstrate ethical self-awareness and to recognize, understand, evaluate and apply different ethical perspectives and concepts.

The program requires a total of 19 credit hours: two required courses (Ethical Theory and Integrative Portfolio in Ethics), three courses from a list of philosophy electives, and three ethics courses from at least two different disciplines (i.e. business, engineering, pharmacy, arts & sciences).
