Founded in 1871, Ohio Northern University (ONU) is nationally recognized as a leading undergraduate university featuring more than 70 majors through its five Colleges: Arts & Sciences, Business, Engineering, Law, and Pharmacy.  ONU offers a comprehensive education to highly motivated students by distinctly blending professional programs and the liberal arts.

The undergraduate colleges offer baccalaureate degrees in more than 70 different major areas. The Claude W Pettit College of Law offers a Juris Doctor (JD) degree and the Rudolph H. Raabe College of Pharmacy offers a PharmD degree.

The University has a spacious and well maintained campus located on a 300-acre site in the village of Ada, a community with a population of approximately 5,000 in a rural area 15 miles east of Lima and approximately 1 ½ hours driving distance from Toledo, Dayton and Columbus.
