Science Fair Judges Needed

Faculty, staff and students 21 and older or who have junior status, are invited to volunteer as judges for District Science Day. This year’s science day will be Saturday, March 19.

Judges will be needed from 9 a.m. until nooon in Meyer Hall and Mathile Center. When judging is finished, volunteers can enjoy lunch in the Activities Room of McIntosh Center courtesy of Admissions.

Students in grades 7 to 12 from 10 counties will be presenting their projects. Each has obtained a "superior” ranking at their school’s science fair. Projects range from psychology and behavioral sciences to chemistry, engineering, physics, math and biology.

On Saturday, March 19, volunteers are asked to pick up judging information from the registration desk before 9 a.m. and proceed to Science Annex 105 where more information will be provided.
