ONU Summer Study Program at Hanyang University
For the fifth consecutive year, students and faculty of Ohio Northern University have the opportunity to study and teach in Seoul, South Korea through our friendship with Hanyang University. The five-week (June 23-August 2, 2011) ONU summer study program at Hanyang University is one of the most affordable study abroad options a student can find. The program offers a wide range of subjects, including art, business, cultural studies, dance, engineering, humanities, international relations, Korean language and culture, literature, political science, science, social sciences, and many more. Courses are taught in English.
Two information sessions about the ONU-Hanyang program will be held this week:
TUESDAY, December 7 at NOON, in Heterick 301 and
THURSDAY, December 9 at 4:00 pm, in Heterick 301.
Past ONU students who have participated in the program and current exchange students from Hanyang University will be present to answer your questions. Those your who are interested should attend. If you cannot attend one of these sessions, please contact Mrs. Deanna Shine at 419-772-3518 or visit the dean’s office of your college.
ONU-Hanyang University Fellowship
In addition, students in the four undergraduate colleges may compete for the ONU-Hanyang University Fellowship, which funds many of the expenses associated with the study abroad program, including tuition, housing, excursions, partial airfare reimbursement, and a one-week trip to China.
Up to two fellowships will be awarded to students from each ONU undergraduate college. Applications must be submitted by 4:30pm, Wednesday, February 9, 2011. Fellowship recipients will be selected and notified by their respective colleges by Friday, February 16, 2011.
