Symphony Presents Spring Concert

The ONU Symphony will present its final program for the season on Saturday May 15 at 8 p.m. in the Freed Center for the Performing Arts.

The concert will feature two of the ONU student concerto competition winners, Sydney Kuhlman and Tasha Hissett.

Kuhlman is a senior musical theatre and international theatre production major from Ada, Ohio, and will be performing a selection from JS Bach’s “Coffee Cantata” and also Bachianas Brasileiras no. 5 for Soprano and 8 cellos.

Hissett is a fourth-year pharmacy student from Cincinnati, Ohio, and will perform Edward Elgar’s Cello Concerto.

The orchestra will close out the concert with Antonin Dvorak’s Symphony No. 8.
