New Employee

Health Services Director – Karen L. Schroeder

Karen L. Schroeder has joined ONU as health services director for the student health center.

She is a registered nurse with an associate degree from Lima Technical College and a bachelor of science degree in nursing from Bluffton College. She is pursuing a master of business administration in health care from Defiance College.

She has worked as an emergency medical technician, hospital staff nurse, emergency room nurse and occupational health nurse. She comes to ONU from Defiance College where she was director of health and wellness from 1991 until the present.

She and her husband, Tim, are the parents of three children.
