B.E.A.R.S. (BUILDING ENERGETIC ALUMNI RESOURCES FOR STUDENTS) VOLUNTEERS:
Alumni volunteers are welcome and encouraged to help Ohio Northern recruit prospective students by representing ONU at college fairs or writing note cards to prospective students. For more information on the B.E.A.R.S. program, request information HERE.
RECOMMEND A STUDENT
Every year, students visit and apply to ONU on the recommendation of an alumna, alumnus, parent, faculty, staff member or current student. What if each of us recommended at least one high school junior or senior a year? For more information, CLICK HERE.
Are you in a position to hire ONU students for a job or internship or know of an opening in your organization that could be posted for current students to apply? Interested in mentoring a current student or participating in mock interviews? Encourage your company to attend ONU career fairs and conduct on-campus recruiting. Alumni networking is key to placing ONU students in their future careers. Contact Career Services for more information on how you can make a difference for our young polar bears.
ALUMNI FEATURE STORIES FOR ONU MAGAZINE:
Do you have an interesting story to tell or professional experience to share? Do you know another alumnus or alumna who would have an interesting story to tell? Please let us know, and we will add to our alumni story bank, which will be a list of possible alumni features for the ONU Magazine. While there are no guarantees that all stories will be used, you will be contacted by a member of Communications and Marketing for an interview or additional information when your story will be featured.
