Institutional Review Board (IRB) proposal for research involving human participants
Ohio Northern University, recognizing its responsibility to provide measures to reasonably protect individuals involved as subjects of research conducted under the auspices of the University, requires that all research projects involving human subjects be reviewed by the Institutional Review Board (IRB). This review must be completed prior to the initiation of the research. Before submitting a protocol to the IRB, be sure that you have completed the required human subjects research training. The required training is outlined in the "CITI Training Requirements" document, which can be found below.

The IRB encourages investigators to submit all required documentation through the online submission portal. However, if you so desire, you may download the IRB Proposal Form and submit it via email or campus mail to the IRB chair.
