Ask any ONU alumnus or student: “What is Ohio Northern University’s most valuable resource?” The answer would undoubtedly be: “The faculty!”At ONU, professors forge meaningful relationships with their students. They inspire students to explore new paths of learning. They tutor struggling students after class. They connect students to life-changing opportunities for research, internships, travel and networking. Fostering a world-class faculty, however, takes investment.
Endowed chairs and professorships make it possible to recruit, retain and inspire top-caliber teaching talent. Endowed faculty fellows offer an incentive for younger faculty, by honoring early-career faculty members who show capacity for excellence in their scholarly work and innovation in their teaching.

My time in the classroom and in the lab has been heightened by the direct contact I have with my professors.
