The Ohio Northern Symphony's spring program, "Dance Impressions," features a combination of folk and dance music from England, France, Spain and Nigeria. Ballet music by Jean Philippe Rameau, C. W. von Gluck, and Manuel de Falla pairs with Samuel Akpabot’s and Richard Rodney Bennett's folk-inspired dance music.

The Ohio Northern Symphony, under the direction of Dr. Antoine T. Clark, is a hybrid orchestra comprised of a highly select group of students, faculty, and professionals. The symphony performs two programs a year, and enrollment is open, by way of an audition, to all University students regardless of major.
