The Office of Multicultural Development at Ohio Northern University invites all ONU students, faculty, staff and campus visitors to attend Cultural Conversation Hour.
This monthly conversation series takes place during a "brown-bag" lunch hour (that is, bring-your-own- lunch) from 11:00 to 11:50 a.m. in the English Chapel.
The series explores ideas related to multiculturalism, belonging, and inclusion that can enhance all ONU students' living & learning experiences. This 2022-23 series is inspired by the work of clinical psychologist Tara Brach and shared by ONU counselor Rebecca Diller:
"Thoughts and beliefs are navigational maps that are not inherently true. Rather, some serve us and others cause feelings of separation, self-aversion, and/or blame of others. We can free ourselves from harmful beliefs by investigating them with a dedicated, mindful, and courageous presence." (https://www.tarabrach.com/)
Freely submit feedback and ideas for future conversation topics to multicultural@onu.edu. Thank you!
