In honor of National Public Health Week, Dr. J. Mac Crawford, retired facutly member at The Ohio State University College of Public Health, will be presenting on "Climate Change: A Long View to the Present." Mac Crawford worked as a critical care RN before completing a doctorate in Preventive Medicine. For 10 years he taught Environmental and Occupational Health, full-time, at the Ohio State University College of Public Health. In 2013 he retired to devote the bulk of his time to the fight against climate change. He is trained in solar installation and works with Clintonville Energy Collaborative to help neighbors learn about and install solar collection systems. He recently was trained in Pittsburgh by Al Gore's Climate Reality Leadership Corps to be an advocate of climate change mitigation and adaptation.
