Workshops and Registration
Learning Management System (Moodle) Workshops
This series of Moodle workshops assists faculty members in setting up and developing courses and teaches them how to effectively use tools available for web-enhanced, blended and fully online courses. Workshops are scheduled for an hour. Workshops for students are offered at the beginning of fall and spring semesters.
Online and Blended Course Design Workshops
Faculty members who offer distance-learning courses must complete this online workshop and submit their course for internal peer review. This requirement ensures that online courses reflect the same excellence and rigor as other instructional modes and schedule types. Courses created are reviewed by an internal review committee. For more information, visit Distance Learning Courses.
Productivity Tools and Video Conferencing Training
Training sessions provide opportunities for faculty, staff and students to utilize University-wide technology tools such as Google Drive and Apps, Office 365, and Video Conferencing tools for increased productivity, efficiency and collaboration.
Multimedia Production Workshops
Faculty, staff and students will learn to create, edit, store, manage and deliver video and audio content for educational purposes.
Classroom Technology Training
Faculty, staff and students will learn to use classroom technologies to enhance the learning process.
The Course Description page provides detailed information on the workshops.
