Nursing Student Success

ONU nursing students are enthusiastic about their chosen career. They possess the work ethic, commitment and compassion to become leaders on campus and in the field of nursing.

Despite a rigorous academic program, our nursing students get involved. They join student organizations, play sports, perform with music ensembles and become volunteers. They tackle research projects, present at professional conferences and take advantage of travel opportunities.

Upon graduation, our nursing students have résumés that stand out. Registered nursing is a growing occupation – the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics estimates a growth of 16 percent in registered nursing positions through 2024. But ONU nursing graduates are in higher demand because of the quality of their educational experience.

Recent graduates Chase MuellerElizabeth "Lizzy" Low and Patrick Sullivan can answer your questions about what it’s like to go through the nursing program at ONU.
