Dr. Christopher Larsen, a native of Atlantic, Iowa, is assistant professor of music and director of choral activities at Ohio Northern University. Larsen received a Bachelor of Music Education from Wartburg College in 1998 under the mentorship of Dr. Paul Torkelson, a Master of Music in choral conducting from the University of Arizona in 2003 under the mentorship of Dr. Bruce Chamberlain, and a Doctor of Music Arts in choral conducting from the University of Texas Austin in 2015 under the supervision of Dr. James Morrow, with research towards aleatory choral pieces and their rehearsal and performance.

As a chorister and a tenor soloist, Larsen has performed with Conspirare with Dr. Craig Hella Johnson, Texas Choral Consort with Brent Baldwin, Ars Longa with Dr. Steven Brennfleck, Austin Baroque Orchestra with Billy Traylor, Vocal Arts Ensemble of Cincinnati with Dr. Donald Nally, and the Opera Colorado Chorus with John Baril.

Larsen spent nine years as the head of music programs in public and private high schools in Iowa, Minnesota and Ohio. His award-winning concert ensembles and show choirs have toured domestically and internationally.

Christopher currently resides in Dublin, Ohio, with his wife, Andrea, son, Julian, and daughter, Malaya.
