Awards and Scholarships

You want to become a teacher, but think a private university is out of reach financially. Think again. In fact, many ONU education majors pay the same—or less—to attend ONU than to attend a public university. Many generous awards and scholarship programs exist for students who want to become educators. These include Choose Ohio First, Education Incentive Scholarship, Math and Engineering Education Scholarship, and the federal TEACH grant for students who plan to teach in a high need area. Please check with ONU’s Financial Aid Office to learn more. Don’t miss out on the opportunity to attend a university that will provide you with individualized attention, unique experiences, and a safe, friendly campus.
