College Credit Plus (CCP)

THE ONU PLAN

College Credit Plus at ONU provides participating high schools and students with a unique and sustainable way to take advantage of rigorous curriculum through college-level courses while earning college credit. Ohio Northern offers students the opportunity to attend ONU courses on our campus or to take ONU courses from a qualified high school faculty member at participating schools.

OHIO NORTHERN COLLEGE CREDIT PLUS ADMISSION

Once the student has met the college-readiness requirement, ONU will review the application for CCP admission. Ohio Northern University requires a 3.0 GPA and a 20 ACT composite score or 1020 SAT score for admission to the University. In lieu of an ACT or SAT score, a student can meet the readiness score in all areas of the ACCUPLACER for admission to ONU. (See chart above.)

Students must complete the online application, submit a high school transcript, and test scores to the admissions office for evaluation. Deadline to submit application materials for next school year (2018-19) is May 15, 2018.

ONU CCP SCHOLARSHIP AND GUARANTEED ADMISSION

Ohio Northern is offering guaranteed admission to the College of Arts & Sciences or the Dicke College of Business Administration and a minimum of $5,000 in University scholarships to any student who completes 15 hours of ONU credits through College Credit Plus, maintains a cumulative 3.0 grade point average, and enrolls full-time at Ohio Northern within two years of high school graduation. ONU is committed to helping students through the admissions process.
