As a student in this cross-disciplinary program, you will gain mastery over the available means of communication: audio production, visual elements, video recording and editing, and writing for print and the web.
You’ll have the flexibility to customize your path, concentrating in one area or choosing courses across three available streams. In your coursework, you will learn to adapt to a range of contexts, produce new and familiar genres of writing, and use a wide range of platforms as you hone your communication skills.
In addition to coursework, you’ll get plenty of hands-on experience & professional development by completing internships, working on University-sponsored publications and productions, and partnering with real clients to solve problems using a variety of platforms. In your senior capstone project, you will complete a project you are passionate about and produce a portfolio that markets your skills to public and private organizations.
