LaShonda Gurley


LaShonda Gurley obtained her Bachelor of Science in organizational communication and a minor in psychology from Ohio University. She also has a Master of Science in education with a specialization in leadership for higher education from Capella University. She is currently pursuing her doctorate in education through Capella University, specializing in educational leadership and management. Gurley has more than 12 years of experience in higher education, gained in both Ohio and Texas. She has worked in various capacities within the academy, including academic advising, instructing, financial aid counseling, first-year student experience and early college awareness. Gurley is currently a member of Pi Eta Delta sorority, Omicron Delta Kappa national honor society, the International Ph.D. Sisters Association, JDOTT (John D. O’Bryant National Think Tank for Blacks in Higher Education), and the Help Yourself Help Others (HY-HO) Service Club of Lima, Ohio. 

Omega Hollies

International Services Coordinator

Omega Hollies received her Bachelor of Arts in group social studies, with a minor in sociology, from Grand Valley State University. She returned to Grand Valley for her Master of Education and graduated in 2012 with a degree in adult and higher education, with a concentration in history focusing on oppression studies and race and ethnicity. Hollies also is a certified social studies and sociology secondary education teacher and has spent time teaching abroad in South Korea.

Dianne Ricks

Dianne Ricks has been with Ohio Northern University since September 2007.  She possesses a Bachelor of Arts in psychology and a minor in art.  She also has a Master of Education with a specialization in leadership from Northcentral University as well as certifications in network administration and web design from Apollo Career Center.
