Career Fairs
ONU hosts career fairs to give recruiters the opportunity to fulfill their hiring needs by meeting and interviewing ONU students from the Colleges of Arts & Sciences, Business Administration, Engineering and Pharmacy. Most of our events are posted on the career services homepage under Student/Alumni events but we also have a page dedicated to our major events for 2012.
Employers meet students in the morning and can schedule interviews for the afternoon portion of the fair. At each event, recruiters will be provided with table, chairs, lunch and other light refreshments.
Education Expo
Education Expo is sponsored by the Education Expo Consortium that brings together over 400 teacher candidates from seven of Ohio’s private colleges and universities.
This year Education Expo will be hosted at Ohio Northern University in Ada, Ohio on Wednesday, April, 18th.
Job Posting
Employers are encouraged to post and manage job openings directly through ONU's online database, Polar Careers, powered by Symplicity. There is no charge to use Polar Careers, powered by Symplicity (Please refer to Employer Guidelines for job posting).
Employers may review ONU student résumé books online using Polar Careers, powered by Symplicity, and contact students directly. Employers may request student résumé packets based on selective criteria such as major, graduation date or GPA.
If you have questions on using Polar Careers, powered by Symplicity, contact Anne Niese at 419-772-2760.
On-Campus Recruiting
Employers can schedule personal recruiting dates on campus to meet with students to fulfill their hiring needs. Appointments with students will be arranged to meet recruiters' specific criteria and instruction. Private facilities are available for testing or informational meetings.
To schedule an on-campus recruiting date, contact Anne Niese at 419-772-2760 or a-niese@onu.edu
If you would like to stay overnight, check out The Inn at Ohio Northern University.
