Biography:

Travel Territory: Michigan and I work with students interested in The Dicke College of Business Administration from all states.

In College Admissions since: 2010

“Why should a student choose ONU?”

Students should choose ONU because of the overall value of the education here.  Your ONU education is not just attending classes and doing homework; there is so much more!  An ONU education is unique - it blends together professional studies and liberal arts, setting the university apart in the development of its students.  Our niche lies in the teaching philosophy of our professors: “teachers first, scholars second”, emphasizing research as a supplement to their primary role in the classroom.  I am a recent graduate and truly a different person than when I entered college.  The one-on-one teaching methods and relationships formed throughout my college career allowed for me to make a name for myself in my  field and across the university. Value, experience, and activeness are a consistent message you will find in every aspect of ONU.  Such an atmosphere enhances a student’s education beyond just a degree.

“What is your favorite thing about Ada?”

What’s not to love about Ada?  Everything from the people, to the businesses, to the scenery is consistent in being quaint and content.  The small town and the university have a beautiful marriage:  the students assist in volunteering for different town activities, and local businesses support the infinite events and activities held on campus, as well.  You literally feel as though you walked right into Pleasantville, yet are just a short drive away from numerous larger cities.

What is your favorite thing about travel territory? (Job)

What I love about my job is that I can open up a student’s mind to the infinite opportunities with a business major.  There are countless directions that a student can take in any of our six majors - the sky’s the limit!  Without having a direct travel territory, I am able to communicate with students from all over and assist them in their educational focus.  I was in their same shoes merely four years ago, and with so many quality business colleges to choose from, it can be confusing on deciding which one is the right one for you.  I was also a DECA member in high school and cannot wait to start visiting more DECA classes, as well as other business clubs, too!
