2015 Engineering Senior Design Showcase attracts media attention

he Ohio Northern University T.J. Smull College of Engineering held its annual Engineering Senior Design Showcase in the McIntosh Ballroom on Tuesday, April 14, at 1:30 p.m.
Engineering student groups displayed their projects using posters and prototypes (or video or photos of their project if it is too large for McIntosh). The designs were judged by industry representatives after the students gave a short presentation and answered questions from the judges.
ONU's first-ever Giving Day raises more than a half-million dollars

On Wed., April 8, Ohio Northern University launched the first-ever dedicated day of giving in honor of its 144th birthday. The goal of Giving Day was to raise as much money as possible for the University in 24 hours, and also encourage a spirit of philanthropy. The results were nothing short of amazing. Not only did we raise more than $500,000, but 178 new donors decided to give. Thank you to everyone who contributed to make Giving Day a phenomenal success.

Students from ONU's Raabe College of Pharmacy teamed up with Activate Allen County to provide Lima, Ohio, residents with free glucose screenings to determine their risk level for developing diabetes.
