Fall Semester

July 25 Monthly tuition payment plan due – 1st installment
Aug. 21 New student move-in; residence halls open at 8 a.m.
Aug. 21 New Student Convocation
Aug. 23 Ada Civic Engagement (ACE) Day
Aug. 23 Move-in for continuing students; residence halls open at noon.
Aug. 24 Welcome Fest for all students
Aug. 25 Classes begin at 8 a.m.
Aug. 25 Last day for payment of fall semester fees
Aug. 25 Monthly tuition payment plan due – 2nd installment
Aug. 25 Late registration for new, re-entry and continuing students (8 a.m. to noon)
Aug. 25 Last day to submit the Student Health Insurance Waiver
Sept. 1 Labor day (no classes)
Sept. 3 Last day to ADD a class or section
Sept. 16 Beginning of "W" period for withdraws
Sept. 18 Fall career/graduate and professional school fair (for recruitment of Arts & Sciences, Business Administration and Engineering majors)
Sept. 20 Family Day/Ada Harvest and Herb Festival
Sept. 25 Monthly tuition payment plan due – 3rd installment

Oct. 3 – 5 Homecoming
Oct. 13 – 14 Fall Break
Oct. 25 Monthly tuition payment plan due – 4th installment
Oct. 27 – Nov. 7 Registration for spring semester
Nov. 14 Last day to withdraw "W" from a class
Nov. 14 Last day to remove "I" (incomplete) marks
Nov. 20 – 22 Holiday Spectacular
Nov. 21 Residence halls close at 7 p.m. for Thanksgiving break
Nov. 25 Monthly tuition payment plan due – Final installment
Nov. 24 – 28 Thanksgiving recess (no classes)
Nov. 30 Residence halls reopen at 8 a.m.
Dec. 1 Classes resume
Dec. 15 – 19 Final exams
Dec. 19 Semester ends
Dec. 19 Residence halls close at 7 p.m.
Dec. 25 Monthly tuition payment plan due – Spring 1st installment

 

Spring Semester    

Jan. 1 First day the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) may be filed online
Jan. 11 Residence halls reopen at 8 a.m.
Jan. 12 Classes begin 8 a.m.
Jan. 12 Last day for payment of spring semester fees
Jan. 12 Monthly tuition payment plan due – Spring 2nd installment

Jan. 19 Martin Luther King Jr. Day (no classes)
Jan. 21 Last day to Add a class or section

Feb. 12 Monthly tuition payment plan due – Spring 3rd installment
