Internships are a professional experience related to a student’s major or career goal. The internship plan generally involves a student working in a professional setting under supervision of practicing professionals. This professional experience can occur while the student is completing other coursework, or as a stand-alone experience. The student is able responsible for securing an experience related to the career-path (and major) and determining which academic term fits within their schedule the best.
