Zeta Tau Alpha

Delta Theta Chapter

Local History

The Delta Theta Chapter of Zeta Tau Alpha was installed on the campus of Ohio Northern University in Ada, Ohio, making it the 105th link in the chain of Zeta national chapters. Prior to installation, the group was a local sorority known as Theta Phi Delta. It was organized on November 19, 1909, and petitioned to become a member of Zeta Tau Alpha in 1959. The Natinoal President at this time was Mrs. Elliot Chapman. The installation was conducted by the Alpha Omega Chapter at Ohio Wesleyan University and the Alpha Pi Chapter of Ohio University.

Zeta Tau Alpha has always been a strong sorority on Ohio Northern's Campus. We have also won many national awards and honors, including the Crown Chapter and Financial Excellence Awards. The tradition of high standards still holds strong today.
