To begin with, let us give you a brief description of our school, Ohio Northern University. ONU is a coeducational, residential, Methodist church-related institution founded in 1871 and enrolling around 3,200 students in the Colleges of Arts and Sciences, Business Administration, Engineering, Pharmacy and Law.

The school opened its doors in August of 1871 as The Ohio Normal School. The schools founder and first president was Henry Soloman Lehr. The schools mascot is the Polar Bear and our colors are Black and Orange.

We were established here on May 19, 1927, making the Sigma Chapter at ONU the oldest honorary fraternity on campus. We currently have 33 active brothers, eight of which hold officer positions.

Our Director of Bands and Advisor is Dr. Charles Bates. The chair of our music department is Dr. Edwin Williams. They are both great help to the fraternity and we are very happy to have them with us!
