How do I become a member?

Members of the ONU Student Branch of IEEE must first become members of the national organization. After you register with the national IEEE and list ONU on your application, you automatically become a member of the ONU Student Branch.

  • Opportunity to attend on-campus ONU IEEE activities.

Membership Requirements

IEEE Student membership is open to all Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering and Computer Science students. To apply for membership, you must be a declared major, in one or more of those fields.

How to Join

The easiest way to join the IEEE is through the online registration from found at the IEEE website. Paper applications can also be obtained from Prof. Herr in Biggs 206. If you have any questions about joining or about IEEE in general, feel free to contact Prof. Herr or any of the officers. We look forward to you joining our organization.
