Work Week 2007
Habiteers!
This is your friendly Work Coordinator, Jay 'BOOMER' Gindlesberger speaking, telling you again about Work Week '07. Please keep your eyes on the email at all times and enjoy the read...
Work Week will be August 27-31, the week before school starts in the fall. This year we are building a house outside Ada from the floor on up. This is going to be a great week, and if you have not already signed up, you should consider it.
Work Week is filled with advantages for you. First, you're back with your friends (who should come too) a week earlier. Second, you move in early. Third, you should have a blast (Disclaimer: Having a blast only happens if you make it and is not guaranteed by Habitat or ONU). Fourth, and most important, you will be building a house for someone who needs a home and bettering the community around you. It is definitely a win-win situation.
Now, there will be work most of the day (time frame is yet to be determined) and most meals will be provided. The week will not cost you anything, except possibly food or any extra activity expenses, which will be low.
If you are interested, contact me at j-gindlesberger@onu.edu by the end of week 10. If you are considering but unsure, you can always remove your name in the summer.
Want to work just one day or two? Feel free to sign up, but tell me this fact. If you just sign up for one day, you can not move in early, though.
Thanks for reading to the bottom of the email. I hope you've enjoyed it.
Thank you for being in and reading your emails from Habitat. Remember: What can Habitat do for you?
**DING** You are now free to move about the country.
