ONU Women's Ultimate
Ultimate Frisbee
Ultimate is a high octane sport invented by college students in the late 1960's and first played regularly by Highschool students in New Jersey in a parking lot. Ultimate takes the best of the other sports and combines them into a running, jumping, skying, diving amazing sport. If you are an athlete that enjoys sports, wants to travel on ONU funds, and represent ONU at tournaments against other colleges, then Ultimate is the sport for you. Current ONU Ultimate players competed in a number of varsity sports in high school including: basketball, soccer, track, cross country, softball, and volleyball.

The Team
The ONU women's team plays in a number of tournaments in the midwest. We routinely finish quite high in the section ahead of many Division One teams. Since our veterans and coach are so good, we only have to practice several times a week. We will teach you all the skills and then spend a lot of time scrimaging to further develop what you've learned. We have many dedicated athletic players in engineering, the sciences, and other demanding academic programs that are able to fit in ultimate, so can you.

Fall Ultimate
Fall is a great time to come out to practice. We generally have 20 to 25 women out playing ultimate by the president's house (he loves us). The men's team is out there also. It is a great time to learn how to throw and meet other players. New players are welcome. Many of our newer players are playing organized ultimate for the first time. We also have intramurals on Wednesdays which brings out several hundered students, beverages, and even some dogs
