Strength through Diversity, a mantra present since Delta Sigma Phis national founding,
is still the best portrayal of Delta Sigma Philocally and nationally.
Delta Sigs are true leaders within both campus and Greek communities. Our members are
involved in every major and also a variety of extracurricular activities including: IFC,
an assortment of academic organizations, WONB-FM, Order of Omega, varsity
sports/intramural sports and Student Senate.
The Alpha Eta chapter of Delta Sigma Phi was founded at Ohio Northern University on
February 14, 1920 when the Engineers Triangle Club officially became the 31rst chapter.
Currently the brotherhood has a membership of 22. In 86 years, over 1,200 brothers have
been initiated into the Alpha Eta chapter of Delta Sigma Phi.
Our house is located on Fraternity Circle in between Maglott Hall and Five University Parkway
(5-up) and boasts the biggest deck on campus.
Feel free to stop over at the house anytime for cookouts, softball, volleyball, slip-n-slide,
rush activities or just to hang out and meet some of the brothers.
Rush activities are announced on the
Events page.
Delta Sigma Phis national philanthropy is the March of Dimes, which raises money to care for
premature babies. Some events we have to raise money for the March of Dimes are: a Euchre
Tournament, $1 paper shoe sale, the March of Dimes Walk and Car Bash.
Remember, no matter what you do in college, you cant do it without friends. Joining Delta
Sigma Phi not only offers you new friendships, but a brotherhood that will last a
lifetime.
