Sullivan Invited to Participate in U.S. Air Force Health Professional Tour
Dr. Sullivan will embark on a four-day tour that allows health profession educators such as practitioners, chief residents and registrars from across the nation the opportunity to experience the Air Force firsthand.
Tour participants are selected from a nomination list compiled by the 28 Air Force recruiting squadrons located nationwide. Recruiters visit health profession schools and colleges within their regions and invite prominent educators to attend the Air Force orientation tour.
Tour participants will travel to Randolph Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas, and will meet with enlisted members, officers and civilians from a variety of fields to see how the Air Force recruits, trains and employs its airmen. The tour also includes an upfront look at flying and aerospace physiology programs at Randolph Air Force Base and a visit to Wilford Hall Medical Center on Lackland Air Force Base. The group will also see medical training and research facilities on Brooks City-Base.
