ONU to Host District Science Day
More than 200 projects by students in grades 7-12 from Allen, Auglaize, Hancock, Hardin, Logan, Mercer, Paulding, Putnam, Seneca and Van Wert counties will be displayed in the ground floor classrooms of ONU's Meyer Hall of Science.
Public viewing will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. An awards ceremony will take place in the McIntosh Center Ballroom at 3:30 p.m.
Projects in several science disciplines will be displayed, including psychology, behavioral science, engineering, chemistry, physics, math and biology. All presented projects have received a "Superior" ranking at their school science fairs.
Dr. Nancy Woodley, associate professor of biological sciences, is the District Science Day director.
