Craig Wiley, Class 1984
Among the most memorable and enjoyable things were the spring tours of Industry. The two years I participated we went to Toledo and Detroit, and Louisville. Also vivid in my memory was the camaraderie we enjoyed within the Department-and the pride-- which were instilled in us primarily by Prof Kain. He was very charismatic. We knew we were part of a great program. We didn't need to put on airs, as did some students in other departments: we knew we were great. We knew we could out-think most of the engineers--and outwork all of them!
