ONU Presents 'The Water Coolers'
Ohio Northern University will present “The Water Coolers” in the Biggs Theater of the ONU Freed Center of the Performing Arts on Saturday, Sept. 23 at 8 p.m.
“The Water Coolers” tells the story of a mismatched group of five office workers who, in the style of a musical review, describe the hectic yet hilarious happenings in their workplace. The cast of characters, which includes the Pep-Talker, the I.T. Cowboy and the M.O.H. (Male Office Hottie), struggle to cope with the pitfalls of corporate management and gender politics while attempting to deal with the jammed printer and the Company Help Line operator that puts everyone on hold. Whether it’s the men in business suits singing to their palm pilots or the office parent trying to shove their children’s school fundraisers upon their co-workers, this show has something to tickle everyone’s funny bone.
Tickets are $25. The Freed Center box office is open Monday through Friday from noon to 5 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Phone orders are accepted with MasterCard, VISA or Discover by calling (419) 772-1900.
