ONU Sees Record Enrollment for Eighth Straight Year
Ohio Northern University has announced a record enrollment for the 2006-2007 school year. A total of 3,569 students enrolled this year compared to 3,526 last year.
This marks the eighth straight year ONU has reached a record enrollment.
ONU attracted the greater amount of valedictorians with 406, up from 385 last year. In addition, ONU had the highest ACT average score of 25.3 amongst new undergraduate students in the past seven years.
ONU also saw an increase of minority students from 169 to 190 students and a jump in international students from 19 to 46.
The University was recently ranked No. 5 among Midwest comprehensive degree-granting colleges in the U.S. News and World Report annual look at higher education. The ranking is included in the 2006 edition of “America’s Best Colleges.”
