'Experience ONU Day' Scheduled

Oct 3, 2006

More than 100 area high school students and their parents will participate in “Experience ONU Day” on Monday, Oct. 9, at Ohio Northern University.

Prospective students will have the opportunity to attend a class, take a tour and attend other general sessions to learn more about campus life, including information about the music and athletic programs.

While their students are attending classes, parents can participate in a session giving them a financial assistance overview to learn about their financial options and ways to make college affordable.

The deans of the Colleges of Arts & Sciences, Business, Engineering and Pharmacy will also be on hand to talk to students and their parents about possible future majors.

“'Experience ONU Day' is an excellent opportunity for high school seniors to get a taste of college life on a typical class day,” says Vice President for Enrollment Karen Condeni. “The day is planned to give prospective students a solid preview of ONU college life and to answer time questions.”

Registration will begin at 8:30 a.m., followed by an opening session and welcome from ONU President Dr. Kendall Baker.
