Engineering students take part in ASEE conference

Students from the College of Engineering attended the American Society for Engineering Education (ASEE) North Central Section Conference, held at the University of Cincinnati on April 18. 

Yuki Matoba, a senior from Habikinoshi, Japan, and Andrew Warren, a senior from Chagrin Falls, Ohio, presented a paper, "I AM AI: Interactive Actor Modeling for Introducing Artificial Intelligence: A Computer Science Capstone Project," which received second place for the Best Student Paper Award.  The paper was co-authored by Thomas Bowersock, a senior from Dublin, Ohio, Victoria Kerr, a senior from Easton, Pa., and advisor Dr. Alexandra Coman.

Mark Messner, a senior from Wapakoneta, Ohio, and Sam Weldon, a senior from Litchfield, Ohio, presented a poster titled "Design of Wind Tunnel Sting and Balance System," which received first place for the Best Student Poster Award.  This poster was co-authored by Taylor Manahan, a senior from Bellefontaine, Ohio. The group’s advisor is Dr. Jed Marquart.
