ONU Black Student Union hosts book signing

Professor and author Vernellia Randall will be signing copies of her book "Dying While Black" on Thursday, March 15 at 1 p.m.

The book signing, sponsored by the Ohio Northern University Black Law Student Association, will take place in the Clemens Lounge of ONU's Pettit College of Law following the diversity forum.

Randall has spoken at more than 140 presentations, workshops and seminars since 1990 on how race and racism are related to health care and the law. She attended the America Preparatory Conference for the United Nations World Conference in Santiago, Chile in 2000 as a delegate to the America's Citizenship Forum. Randall was also invited by the United Nations Research Institute for Social Development to present a paper on "Regulating Racial Prejudice in Human Experimentation and Health Care."
