Schröder authors saxophone book chapter, article

Henning Schröder, assistant professor of music, is author of a book chapter, “Das postmoderne Saxophon und sein Weg ins 21. Jahrhundert" and an article, "In die weite Welt hinei." Both appear in the book Saxophon - Ein Instrument und seine Erfinder.

Schröder is one of four featured scholars in a book on the saxophone published in German and French in celebration of Adolphe Sax' 200th birthday.

Schröder contributed a featured chapter on the history of the saxophone as well as an article on the use of the saxophone in non-Western music. The publisher is the German Nikolai Verlag. Editors are Frank Lunte and Claudia Müller-Elschner. The release date is Sept. 24.
